Kellie M. Martin is an American television and film actress. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin's acting career started at age 7 when an aunt, a former nanny who cared on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' She began acting professionally after graduating Yale University. This led to her being offered major part-time roles in the TV as well as the film industry. Martin, who is an actress and a skilled photographer and dancer has been working in the field for more than twenty years. Being a mom to two kids, she's become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. Martin has actively promoted Lupus since the time her younger sister passed away due to the disease at 19.
